Job Summary

The Business Solutions Consultant is responsible for the day to day interactions with all assigned clients who use FDS products and suite of services. The primary role of the Business Solutions Consultant is to ensure that our clients are recognizing the full value of our products and maximizing return on their investment. To ensure this success, the Business Solutions Consultant is responsible for delivering client training, education, requests, reports, updates, etc. As product experts, the Business Solutions Consultant must develop a concise strategy, focusing on analytics and client needs to meet the demands of the business and support customer outreach. The Business Solutions Consultant will provide feedback and suggestions to internal FDS team members to support the continued growth and development of our products based on client conversations and industry needs. Success in this role is defined by the Business Solutions Consultant’s ability to provide guidance and support to FDS customers and team members to ensure the long-term success and health of our business.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

  • Primary point of contact for assigned client portfolio as determined by the leadership team
  • Focus on myDataMart and eNGAGE product lines
  • Delivers excellent customer service that ensures ongoing product success and customer satisfaction
  • Uses evidence-based analytics to work with customers to determine product usage, results, needs, etc. and makes recommendations accordingly
  • Partners with key resources in the development of reports, analytical tools, ROI activities, etc. to support client outreach
  • Supports product demo and implementation efforts for myDataMart and eNGAGE solutions
  • Supports both the sales and development teams in activities related to new client outreach and product innovation
  • Assists in the development and creation of customer presentations and marketing materials as needed
  • Uses company literature and resources along with available training to stay up to date on product features and changes
  • Researches and understands industry challenges and changes to support client needs and product growth
  • Has clearly defined daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly goals and objectives to drive client and product success
  • Awareness of competitive intelligence and an understanding of market competition to support client needs and product growth
  • Assist in creating RFP responses for potential clients
  • Maintains accurate records, including but not limited to client discussions, product discussions, testimonials and value statements
  • Lead point of contact for customer cancelations and recovery efforts
  • Actively participates in team meetings, 1:1’s and brainstorming activities
  • Professional and Personal development activities as assigned
  • Ability to attend client meetings and industry conferences as needed
  • Actively manages daily activities and call schedule to meet goals and objectives in a timely manner
  • Provides regular updates on client outreach, goals and objectives and industry intelligence/competitor information to the VP, Business Development and Population Health
  • Creates and prepares quarterly business reviews for clients
  • Exposure to confidential corporate and customer information; must maintain absolute confidentiality and comply with all HIPAA guidelines
  • Maintain satisfactory attendance in accordance with company guidelines
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Experience

  • High school education or higher
  • 3 years of direct work experience in a related pharmacy setting
  • Knowledge and understanding of pharmacy (chain, independent, GPO, PSAO, etc.)
  • Experience with healthcare software technology is a plus
