Analytics Analyst
Position: Analytics Analyst
Location: Fort Worth, TX
Job Summary
The Analytics Analyst will be responsible for analyzing the pharmacy data of our customers to help identify opportunities and insights that will be beneficial to the business.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
-Analyze large data sets and identify opportunities; i.e. drug selection, analyst operational data, how the pharmacies are managed, etc.
-Use BI Tools and reporting tools to compare trends
-Articulate findings to developers and product managers
-Use pharmacy knowledge to bring value and solutions to the business
-Build dashboards of findings
-Provide guidance for our products
Required Skills
-Experience with analytics tools (BI tools, Tableau)
-Experience with reporting tools (SSRS, Business Objects, SQL skills, Big Data Languages)
-Strong SQL skills
-Strong experience with Pharmacy data (Pharmacy industry knowledge and experience)
-6+ years of exceptional analysis skills in the pharmacy or healthcare industry
Desired Skills
-The ideal candidate would have held a pharmacy role in the past and analyzed pharmacy data.
Education
Bachelor’s Degree; or 6+ years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Good communication skills as this is a leadership position.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to define problems and collects data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
