About Cookies
This site does not use persistent cookies. Session cookies may be used on various
pages on this site to help the pages perform an action necessary for correct or
desirable function of the page. Session cookies are temporary and are erased when

Links to Other Web Sites
The FDS web site contains links to other web sites and these links are identified
as such. Each of these links takes you away from the public FDS web site. When you
go to another site, you are subject to the privacy and site use policies of the
new sites.
Accessibility
FDS web pages include features designed to improve accessibility for users with
disabilities. These features are described below.
Navigation
- Main Menu - A JavaScript drop menu is available near the
top of each page.
- "Bread Crumb" Menu - Each graphical page on
the site contains "bread crumb" text links near the top of the page that
show you where you are on the site in relation to the site's home page and site
map page.
- Site Map - Each page contains a text link to an outline
of links for this site.
Pop Up Windows
- Pop up windows are not used. Links to other web sites open in new browser windows
and are identified as such in the link's mouse-over text.
Visual Presentation of Text
- This site relies on Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) for visual presentation of text.
The style sheet uses relative font sizes.
- By changing your browser's text-size preference, you can resize the text to
be larger or smaller. To do this in Internet Explorer, go to the text menu at the
browser window, select View, then select Text Size. If you are using another browser,
consult that browser's help system.
- If your browser does not support style sheets or if you have turned style sheets
off, the content of this site will display, but may not appear as it was designed.
Acronyms
- Acronyms are cited with their full text equivalents. Upon the first instance of
an acronym on a page, the full text of the acronym is followed by the acronym itself
in parentheses.
Graphics
- On pages containing graphics, text descriptions are provided for images through
the use of "alt tags" to aid users who listen to the content of the site
with screen reader software.
Display On Screen and In Print
This site was tested with Internet Explorer 7.x and FireFox 2.x.

Browser-centric features and/or user-specified settings in some web browsers may
cause onscreen displays and/or printed pages to be other than intended by design.
Adobe® Portable Document Format (PDF)
- Documents available for download from this site are in Adobe®
Portable Document Format (PDF).
- Information about PDF accessibility is available on the Access Adobe® website. Use this
link to go to the Adobe® Access On-Line Tools
web page. This link takes you away from the public FDS web site. Once you link
to another site, you are subject to the privacy policy of the new site.
- Additional information about Adobe® PDF accessibility
is also available on this web site's
Downloads page.
